Fuel the local economy with THREAD’s holiday shop fest

Time to start your holiday shopping engines!

Show your support for the local design scene this Sunday and browse the latest and greatest in women’s (and men’s) clothing, jewelry and handbags at the THREAD Show.

This multi-city traveling shopping tour has made an appearance in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco and has now arrived in Seattle to showcases the best in local indie fashion.

From tees that honor the late Steve Jobs by might tees, or chic apparel by Vue Society, to cozy knits by Blue Luna, earthy statement pieces by Amy Bengston Handmade Jewelry, or socially conscious fashion by Sperantsa, Seattleites can expect a little something for everyone.

The fun doesn’t end there. Fashionistas and fellas can groove to live music, play in the pop-up art gallery, browse a fashion art installation, get pampered at the style lounge or receive mini-massages from Fremont Spine & Wellness, or test their DIY gift wrapping skills or even participate in a major clothing swap.

This must-go shopping extravaganza takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Sunday. Premium level tickets are $25 and general admission tickets are  $5 (if pre-registered here). Or bring a bag of clothing to donate and get in for $5 and tickets also available at the door for $10.

Round up the ladies and fellas and show your support for the Seattle fashion scene.
