If you’re looking for a relaxing escape to the coast, Seabrook is the perfect destination. Situated on the Olympic Peninsula, Seabrook is a thoughtfully-built town that sits on a scenic bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Seabrook offers cozy vacation rentals, walkable restaurants, bars and shops, hiking trails, and easy beach access. Seabrook is less than a three hour drive from Seattle, making it super convenient for a weekend trip.

Where to Stay

There are nearly 300 vacation homes of varying sizes that are available to rent when visiting Seabrook, from beachfront homes, rentals in the town center, and homes in the serene farm district. You can find anything from small cabins and cottages that sleep two, to homes suitable for up to 22 people. These homes offer amenities such as private hot tubs, pet friendly lodging, fire pits, extended outdoor spaces, EV charging stations, and outdoor showers.

There are so many wonderful vacation rentals to choose from when visiting Seabrook, but we highly recommend staying at Good Day Getaway. Conveniently located just 10 minutes walking from the town center, Good Day Getaway sleeps up to eight people with three spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is fully equipped for families, home chefs, remote work, beach time, and more. We loved how light and airy the space was, along with cozy amenities like a gas fireplace, private deck, mini coffee bar, and a vinyl record player. Good Day Getaway is located in the South Farm District, near Seabrook’s new pool.

We really enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces at Good Day Getaway, including a front porch, an upstairs deck offering calming forest views, and a backyard patio. The backyard patio has a gas barbeque, a firepit, and a private hot tub (our favorite amenity!). The open-concept kitchen, living, and dining spaces keep everyone connected, and there is plenty of space and seating for a large group. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a beach weekend with friends, a romantic getaway, or just a change of scenery for working remotely, you’re in good hands with Good Day Getaway.

Where to Eat + Drink

Seabrook has so many amazing restaurants and cafes to choose from, but here are some of our favorites:

Koko’s Seabrook: Koko’s is a waterfront restaurant and tequila bar that offers modern Latin cuisine. They have a thoughtfully curated menu that includes small bites, cocktails, and larger plates. Koko’s has beautiful views of the beach that you can enjoy while dining there. We loved the creamy Poblano-Cashew Enchiladas with prawns and the Chorizo Burger topped with mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions, guacamole, grilled pineapple, and fried jalapeno. Koko’s also has an assortment of tacos, burritos, pastas, and salads. Wash it all down with a refreshing margarita and you’ll be one happy camper.

Frontager’s Pizza: Located in the heart of Seabrook’s town center, Frontager’s is a Washington-born concept that has elevated the classic Italian brick-over pizza by infusing Northwest artisanal ingredients. Their pizzas pair perfectly with their craft cocktails, as well as the beer from their brewery, Camas Brewing Company. Frontager’s offers starters such as the hot lobster dip, arancini, and cast iron focaccia. They also have salads, stromboli, calzones, and several pastas like the crab ravioli (yum!). Pizza-wise, our favorites are the Truffle Bianca with truffle oil, mushrooms, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, and fresh herbs; the Sausage Pesto; and the Prosciutto di Parma. If you save room for dessert, the chocolate molten cake and warm apple crisp are both delicious.

Stowaway Wine Bar: We are big wine lovers, so we love that Seabrook has a wine bar that also offers lovely beach views. Stowaway is a husband-wife owned wine bar that serves West Coast New World wines, as well as European wines. They offer wines by the glass, wine tastings, wine flights, and even beers on tap. We recommend trying a wine flight and pairing it with one of Stowaway’s many shareable plates. Favorites are the Burrata and Pesto Board, Warm Brie Board, and the Figgy Flatbread with fig spread, mozzarella, prosciutto and gorgonzola. Stowaway also has sandwiches, gourmet tinned fish, and dessert truffles.

Vista Bake Shop: An artisan bakery that offers loaves of bread such as focaccia and ciabatta, pastries like chocolate croissants, cheddar jalapeno scones, and lemon poppy seed muffins, and desserts such as fudge brownies and coffee cake. They also have a large selection of sandwiches, from the Breakfast Sandwich to the Chicken Pesto to the BLT. Vista has several drinks and snacks as well, and a full coffee and tea bar. This is the perfect spot to stop for breakfast or lunch, or to even grab to-go food for a beach picnic.
