Popular Japanese spot, Marugame Udon is coming to the area with its debut location opening in Westfield Southcenter later this year. The beloved udon restaurant is known for its fresh, Sanuki-style udon, crispy tempura selections, and “theater” kitchensetting, where guests can watch their food being made.

Founded 20 years ago by Awata-San, Marugame Udon is inspired by traditional udon kitchens in Sanuki, Kagawa. Its mission is to bring the comfort of handcrafted udon and tempura to American diners in an affordable and accessible way. In addition to udon, Marugame offers freshly made Tempura, rice dishes, and signature beverages.

Marugame Udon’s arrival is the newest and final addition to Westfield Southcenter’s “Restaurant Row,” announced last fall, following the recent opening of the popular Korean BBQ restaurant chain, Gen Korean and the upcoming opening of Mr. Dim Sum, slated for later this year.
