Bellevue downtown’s STK Steakhouse is a sophisticated fine dining experience with modern flair. The restaurant and lounge serves steaks and cocktails in a vibrant atmosphere with a DJ that makes the meal feel like a celebration. Along with their regular menu, right now they are featuring a pumpkin menu through the end of November. We got a chance to eat our way through it last week.

We tried both the Pumpkin Bourbon Smash and the Pumpkin Mocha Martini, and while both were wonderfully seasonal, the martini was my favorite. The espresso combined with the creamy rumchata perfectly mellowed out the vodka, creating a beautifully balanced drink. It was smooth, with just the right amount of warmth from the spices, making it the ideal cocktail to savor as the weather cools.

The pumpkin menu at STK Steakhouse is a mix of classic flavors with inventive twists. One standout is the Duck Burger, featuring a juicy, tender duck patty paired with sweet caramelized onions, a tangy plum chutney, crispy sweet potato fries, and a slightly-too-sweet pumpkin ketchup. The duck patty was well paired with caramelized onions, which added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the mild gaminess of the meat. Another highlight was the Pumpkin Ravioli with Dungeness Crab. These delicate ravioli were a sweet and creamy taste of fall, with the champagne confit mushrooms adding an earthy, umami depth to the dish.

Bone marrow is usually a hit-or-miss dish for me, one I don’t typically order, but will partake in if it’s on the table. However, the American Masami Bone Marrow at STK had me coming back for more. Served with a pumpkin spice bacon marmalade and accompanied by aromatic parmesan garlic bread, it was rich and indulgent in the best possible way.

The French Dip with roasted top round, caramelized onions, and a horseradish cream was craveable and satisfying to eat. And the final highlight of the meal was the 6 oz. filet (from the regular menu). It was so impeccably cooked that it practically melted in my mouth. The Wagyu Umami butter was torched table side and was luxurious, enhancing the tender meat with a velvety, savory finish that elevated the entire dish. Truly one of the best steaks I can remember eating. If you eat meat, do not miss ordering a steak!
