Northwest Flower & Garden Festival Is February 19-23

Celebrate Spring Dreamin’ with over 20 display gardens, more than 115 sessions and other learning activities, and thousands of treasures in the garden marketplace. The Northwest Flower & Garden Festival is the best annual event to gather ideas and inspiration for beautiful living spaces. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting to dig in the dirt, there’s something for everyone!

For over 30 years, the Northwest Flower & Garden Festival has brought together seasoned gardeners and curious plant lovers to celebrate, connect, and share their passion. It’s a place where gardening dreams come to life, welcoming the arrival of spring in the Pacific Northwest. This year, attendees can explore over 20 stunning, full garden displays constructed in just 72 hours, enjoy 120+ seminars, browse a vibrant plant market featuring more than 60 nurseries and shop hundreds of unique vendors, including a charming vintage market, offering art, jewelry, garden tools, accessories, home decor and much more.

This year, the Plant Academy series returns providing FREE in-depth seminars on popular gardening topics, making the festival more accessible than ever. Additionally, city dwellers won’t want to miss the new daily Small Space Solutions seminar, hosted by Epic Gardening stars! Attendees will learn essential tips and tricks for maximizing their limited space, including a special session on growing food at home—a rising trend even in the city.

The festival boasts an exceptionally stellar lineup of gardening celebrities this year providing the opportunity to meet and hear from top voices of the home, horticulture and landscape design world, ready to engage with visitors, offer expert advice and share exclusive tips. Notable speakers and show garden judges include:

Cheap Old Houses hosts, Elizabeth and Ethan Finkelstein, HGTV stars and recent authors featured on the Drew Barrymore Show will judge the garden displays.
● Marcus Bridgewater of Garden Marcus will inspire guests with a talk about tree-based meditation.
● Authors of Atlas Obscura and Gastro Obscura, Cecily Wong and Dylan Thuras, will speak to festival attendees about the diversity of edible wonders across the globe, inspiring anyone who eats, grows, and craves insight into the world of edible wonders; followed by a book signing and photo opportunities for fans.
● Ornamental grass expert Neil Lucas will lead a seminar on biodiversity and eco-friendly gardening practices, ideal for those with a curious and sustainability-focused mindset.
