Washington Trails Association and the Northwest Symphony Orchestra (NWSO) are collaborating for the second time to present Crescendo: A Symphonic Celebration of Washington Landscapes. Delight in nature-inspired orchestral pieces performed by the NWSO — including Vivaldi’s Spring, Delius’ Summer Evening and Jones’ Mount Rainier Overture — paired with hundreds of hiker photos from WTA’s annual Northwest Exposure Photo Contest.
The concert will feature performances by The Musical Mountaineers and violin soloist Hana Gottesman. Concert goers will have opportunities to connect with WTA staff and volunteers about the nonprofit that Washington hikers have trusted for over 50 years, including what you can do for trails, the benefits of membership, and ways to get involved.
