Lakedale is located just outside of Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, accessible by ferry or plane. Situated on 82 wooded acres, Lakedale offers five accommodation options:
1. The Yurt Village: 425-square-foot luxury, year-round yurts, each equipped with a private deck & hot tub, a king bed, ensuite bathroom, wet bar, and flat-screen TV. (This is where we stayed and we absolutely loved it!)
2. The Lodge: Adults-only retreat featuring cozy guest rooms with gas fireplaces, jetted tubs, and private decks overlooking the lake.
3. Log Cabins: Family and pet-friendly, these two-bedroom, two-bath cabins come with full kitchens, fireplaces, and spacious cedar decks.
4. Seasonal Canvas Cabins with pillow-top beds and soft linens and Canvas Cottages with full bathrooms and chandeliers.
5. Seasonal campsites for the nature lover, and the most affordable option.

Lakedale is surrounded by Neva Lake, Dream Lake and Fish Hook Lake, providing an abundance of outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and boating. Visitors can explore the magic of the island through hiking trails, whale watching, kayak tours, dining at local restaurants, and visiting local wineries and breweries.
Lakedale is renowned for pioneering the “glamping” trend, combining the allure of camping with luxurious amenities. Their commitment to sustainability is evident through the use of biodegradable cleaning products and eco-friendly practices. The resort’s picturesque setting also makes it a popular venue for weddings and group events.
