The Annual Salmon Derby Dinner is Returning to Ben Paris in September

The second annual Ben Paris Salmon Derby Dinner returns this fall to Ben Paris in downtown Seattle’s State Hotel, with support from local partners Mark Ryan Winery and Filson.

Taking place on September 25 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, the Salmon Derby Dinner pays tribute to Ben Paris, the namesake of the restaurant, who was instrumental in shaping Seattle’s culinary scene. Ben Paris launched the city’s first salmon derby and played a key role in shutting down commercial salmon traps in Puget Sound, which helped preserve the region’s wild salmon runs.

Ben Paris invites guests to come raise a glass, enjoy a meal rooted in local flavor, and honor a legacy that helped shape not only Seattle’s fishing culture, but the broader commitment to conservation.

The three-course dinner will spotlight salmon and other Pacific Northwest favorites, expertly paired with wines from Mark Ryan Winery, including selections from the Lu & Oly collection. Guests will also receive an exclusive goodie bag from Filson and other regional brands that share a dedication to craft and conservation.

Tickets are $175 plus tax and fees and availability is limited. More details and ticket information here.

Guests can also book an overnight stay at The State Hotel. More information and rates here.
