Taiwanese Canadian Author Amanda Sung at Mam’s Books on Friday, November 7

Taiwanese-Canadian author Amanda Sung will appear at Mam’s Books in Seattle’s Chinatown–International District on Friday, November 7 at 4:00 pm for a reading and signing of her debut novel, How to Break a Girl.

The novel follows three Asian Canadian women whose lives fracture and rebuild through friendship, ambition, and identity. Blending humor and heart, Sung explores what it means to start over and heal together.

With a 4.9 Goodreads rating and strong early reviews, How to Break a Girl marks a bold, intimate addition to contemporary fiction. Hosted at Seattle’s first Asian American–owned bookstore, this event celebrates storytelling, community, and resilience.
