Pike Place Market invites Seattleites to celebrate the beginning of spring at the 29th Annual Daffodil Day on Friday, March 20, from 11 am to 2 pm. Visitors will receive a free bundle of fresh daffodils (while supplies last), meet the local farmers who harvested them, and celebrate arrival of warmer brighter days!

This annual event is an ideal opportunity to explore Pike Place Market before peak summer season – shop for one of-a-kind gifts, high-quality produce, and specialty foods you won’t find anywhere else!

Supporting Local Flower Farmers

All flowers at Pike Place Market are grown within 100 miles of Seattle and sourced from multi-generational, family-run farms that have been selling at the Market for over 30 years. This year’s daffodils are proudly grown by K.P.P Garden, Nguyen Family Farm, Thai Tao Farm, and Va Cha Garden — farms that are all women owned/operated and have been staples of the Market for decades.

Experience Live Market Buskers

Live performances will take place on the Farm Truck Stage under the Clock & Sign from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.

The lineup includes:
10:30 am – 11:30 am: Victory Rose

Discover the PIKE BOX Program
Daffodil Day also marks the start of registration for PIKE BOX, weekly farm-to-customer program supporting over 40 Washington farmers that brings fresh, local produce directly to consumers. Starting on March 20, visitors can register for the Spring PIKE BOX and Summer PIKE BOX and learn more about how the program supports local agriculture.
