Why We Heart Them

Cooking and entertaining is this young woman’s passion. Raised in the restaurant business, she says good food and wine have always been the core of her family. So naturally, Angie enjoys presenting the perfectly decorated table with the perfectly matching linens and china when entertaining. You can always expect the best when Angie’s hosting!

Angie transitioned her passion for entertaining into a career. In 2002, Angie was given the honor to take over her grandmother, Toots’ long established home décor store in Bellevue, Table Top & Home, a local independently owned retailer specializing in offerings from the greatest assortment of fine linens and related accessories for the dining room, bedroom and bath.

“I took over running the store 9 years ago when my grandmother, Toots, retired. She taught me everything I know, including how to climb a ladder in stilettos,” says Angie. “She always wanted me in the business, and took me on my first buying trip to NYC for my 18th birthday.”

As an entertainment expert and design guru, Angie enjoys working with clients to help weave their design dreams into reality. Table Top & Home offers interior design services, wedding registries, gift giving and home furnishing. From a crab feed to a black tie event, they have everything to make any occasion a special one.

Her job also comes with a lot of perks. Angie has traveled internationally for buying trips and has scoured the world to find the perfect décor pieces to bring back to the shop. But her favorite part of the job is working with her clients on a personal level at their residences for more extensive design jobs, this gives her an outlet to be creative and work with people she loves. “It is the perfect combination of being able to enjoy my career and my friends,” says Angie.

She’s a high-end, trend-setting home décor designer, but remains a true Northwest girl at heart and loves the outdoors. Her goal this year  is to conquer  Mt.Rainer with her sisters. Angie has also volunteered for Wild and Scenic Adventures as a white water raft guide for inner urban children who have never left the city to give them an experience of the outdoors that she loves, as well as The Spirit of Giving, an organization  that sponsors teen mothers and their children to make sure that their holiday needs and desired are fulfilled.
