Be in the Know: Coldplay

The hot British rockstars and their hot new album land in Seattle’s Key Arena.

If you’re an avid Coldplay fan and Chris Martin devotee (along with the rest of world)—then you have probably been feeling a bit neglected by your favorite British rockers.

But, hey, that comes with the territory when you’re favorite British rockers happen to be one of the world’s best-selling music artists with over 55 million records sold worldwide.

Coldplay will kick off their first North American tour in three years in Edmonton, Alberta on April 17. Luckily for us—our close proximity to our Canadian neighbors places us at the top of the tour date line-up with an April 25 performance at KeyArena.

Coldplay’s latest album,“Mylo Xyloto” charted at number one in thirty countries in addition to becoming the group’s third record to debut at the top of the US Billboard 200. The album’s first two singles, “Paradise,” and “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,” received Grammy nominations for Best Rock Performance and Best Pop Duo/Performance.
