Level up your avocado toast at Jujubeet

With all the construction happening along 1st Ave S today, and the parades of tourists crowding the streets, you might easily miss Pioneer Square’s newest health-conscious eatery, Jujubeet. With 10+ cold-pressed juices, wellness elixirs, smoothies, acai bowls, and a 100% gluten-free menu, owner Bianca Szyperski and team deliver feel-good food in Seattle’s OG neighborhood. “Pioneer Square is a special place,” she said. “We love the history in this area, the old buildings and that it is so close to the water. We are very happy to see all of the positive changes in the area and are excited to play a little part in it.”

Everything from the Insta-worthy avocado toast piled high with mixed greens, fresh herbs, and snap peas to the grain bowls like the chipotle tempeh bowl with bbq tempeh, all the greens, and a cashew cream sauce at Jujubeet is made in-house or at their nearby production facility. The Pioneer Square cafe (the 5th Jujubeet location to open in the city after University Village, South Lake Union, and two in Bellevue) offers a variety of superfood infused treats designed to take the guesswork out of making an unhealthy choice. Everything’s been carefully crafted to give patrons a boost of energy and nutrition needed to make each day spectacular. And it’s not just food design to make you feel good about eating/drinking it; it’s literally created to make you happy. “Our most popular cold-pressed juice is definitely our Happy Greens,” said Szyperski. “We call it Happy Greens because our dietitian reports that research has shown that fennel, one of the ingredients in Happy Greens, helps our brain produce Serotonin.”

The cafe sits right in the middle of Pioneer Square’s food scene across the street from Damn the Weather. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon in a cozy booth working on your laptop or spend quality time catching up with friends over a matcha or steamy turmeric root latte.

Jujubeet is a plant-based, gluten-free haven that also has several paleo and keto-friendly items like the chocolate mint keto smoothie, and paleo granola. They also offer organic high quality cleanses made in house that are a great way to reset your body and mind.
