DIG—The Dog Person’s Dating App Launching in Seattle 7/11

Seattle dog lovers have a new way to meet each other through Dig—the dog person’s dating app! Single and want a dog? Have a dog? Love dogs? Created by two sisters, Casey and Leigh Isaacson, Dig’s goal is to connect dog people through one thing that’s already crucial to them—their love for dogs. Dig is a great way for dog lovers and dog owners to find compatible dates in an otherwise “ruff” dating world.

Dig officially launches in Seattle with a dog friendly party at WeWork Lincoln Square on Thursday, July 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Entry, wine, beer, and treats are FREE when you download on the App Store or share the app.

In addition, our launch features dozens of local dog businesses and dog rescues with adoption opportunities, celebrating with free treats and services for all attendees! ALL dogs used in our marketing and on social media are currently up for adoption.

Why does Seattle need a dog person’s dating app? Seattle is one of the most dog-friendly cities in the country with dedicated off-leash fenced-in dog parks, great access to vets and dog-related services, and lots of dog-friendly date spots. A study done by Seattle’s own Rover found that 86% of dog owners would break up with their significant other if they weren’t into their dog, and 73% of dog parents are more likely to swipe right on a person’s profile pic that includes their dog.

Connecting through Dig not only ensures you that your “paw-tential” match shares your love for dogs, but also provides the unique feature to plan a dog-friendly first date right here in Seattle!
