In the current health situation we’re in—and to enhance the social distancing that’s been recommended—having a healthy delivery option comes in clutch. Splendid Spoon is a subscription box service offering ready-to-eat, nutrient dense, plant-based smoothies, grain bowls, and soups delivered to your door.

Their menu is dairy, gluten, and soy-free and their plans are designed to kickstart healthy habits. With ready-to-eat meals in the fridge and to take to work, it decreases the guesswork out of keeping yourself well-nourished and satisfied throughout the workweek.

I tried a variety of smoothies—my favorites were the Cacao Almond and AB&J (almond butter and jelly). They were filling so I split each bottle into two servings. Out of the bowls (soups + grains), I loved the Aloo Gobi Quinoa Bowl and Cumin Sweet Potato Soup. The savory items are tasty, flavorful, and I’m definitely planning to order again.
