Our hats are off to Jannie Baltzer — we’ll wear her headbands instead.
Forget the fashionable chapeaus. You want to stand out in that crowd (OK, you want to stand out more). A simple headband doesn’t cut the grade for your desired fashionista statement. Try this on for size: couture headpieces made of French lace, Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers, mother of pearls and more.
Jannie Baltzer, a luxury accessories designer, has dedicated her duties to designing an array of headpieces for the modern bride. But eventually a demand grew for a fashion piece that could be worn more than once (or twice) in a lifetime. Enter her couture line, designed especially for the fashionista wanting to make a statement.
Inspired by 1920s and 1930s Hollywood glamour, Baltzer uses the finest materials in each of her hand-sewn headpieces, such as French lace, silk, Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers, glass beads, mother of pearls and vintage finds. Each piece is crafted by hand in her Copenhagen studio.
The Jannie Baltzer Couture collection features 15 opulent designs, including bestselling styles such as the Viktoria, Mary, Greta and Honey. They retail for $170 – $330 and are available online.
