Tough and McCracken have done it again.
Their newest culinary darling, The Coterie Room, opened this past Tuesday. It would seem that this dynamic duo can do no wrong when it comes to creating innovative restaurants and creative dishes that people are nearly banging down the door to try.
The buzz over chefs Dana Tough and Brian McCracken’s newest novelty? Good, very, very good. But what else would we expect from the chefs that brought us instant cult classics such as Spur Gastropub and Tavern Law.
Tough and McCracken are well known for their avant-garde New American cuisine, unique and savory cocktails and eye-catching designs of their plates and restaurants. The Coterie Room is beautifully adorned with a crystal chandelier, dark floors that offset ornate white ceilings, and a plush wall of greenery that adds just the right amount of pop.
To start off your meal you can dive in to Grilled Fennel Sausage over polenta or Poutine with braised pork shoulder and Beecher’s cheese curds. After that, move right along to Buttermilk Fried Chicken or Smoked King Crab with hash brown potatoes—and hopefully on to your second or third cocktail as well.
Housed in place of Restaurant Zoë in Belltown, this prime location and superior line-up of menu items guarantees a unique night out that will leave you clutching your belly in pleasure and premeditating your next visit.
