The Spot: James Beard–award winning chef Thierry Rautureau pays tribute to his father, Luc, with a café and bar offering heartwarming food. Don’t be fooled by the casual atmosphere though, the bustling kitchen produces some serious dishes. Rautureau, often referred to as the Chef in the Hat, may even drop by your table to greet you with a warm smile.

The Dish: Regarded as the French capital of gastronomy, the city of Lyon gave us the popular and delicious salade lyonnaise. Luc carries on the tradition with lettuce, bacon, herbed croutons, and a beautiful poached egg perched on top. You’ll love the flavor and the wonderful ballet of textures.
