The classic Fremont eatery introduces a new look and a tasty happy hour menu.
Looking for a new happy hour destination and craving classic, locally-sourced European fare in a comfortable casual neighborhood bistro environment? Then 35th Street Bistro Kitchen + Bar is your go-to-spot in Fremont.
This past March, 35th Street opened its door again after an extensive remodel. With a larger bar, and lounge area, this classy establishment is now the perfect place to socialize and grab a gourmet bite for happy hour.
While the dining room retains its airy bistro feel, the bar has been updated into a hip and intimate space with dark wood tables and flickering candlelight. The once private alcove off the main dining room has been transformed into a swanky lounge with leather furnishings, and a glittering chandelier.
Chef Tyler Chamberlain and Pastry Chef/Owner, Michelle Citarello, have created a delicious menu of small plates and bites for happy hour. The new menu features dungeness crab croquettes with a sweet chili aioli ($8), smoked onions rings with porter dipping sauce ($6), steak sliders ($3.50), grilled garlic bread ($3), duck confit with tart apple and cherry chutney ($7), as well as plentiful cheese platters ($6/9/12).
The new lineup of cocktails created by bartenders, Conventry Hingle, incorporate both ‘twisted classics’; like a French “35” ($12) a gin based drink with prosecco, St. Germain and lemon, or a Maker’s Mark Manhattan with drunken dark cherries, to unique ‘concoctions’ like the Ginger Honey Mojito ($11) or a 35th Street Martini ($10) with Vodka muddled with fresh seasonal fruit and simple syrup. . A vast selection of French champagnes, sparkling, white and red wines, and domestic and imported beers are also available.
Grab your friends and head to Fremont’s 35th Street Bistro Kitchen + Bar to check out the newest Happy Hour menu and cocktails available from 2-6:30 p.m. and 9-close every night.
