“Champion’s Theme (Stay Winning) featuring RaeL” is a single off of The Brew, which came out at the beginning of this summer. The Brew was a final class project by students at the University of Washington. During Spring Quarter they wrote, produced, and promoted the album as their course work. Everyone got their grades, but it’s up to them this summer to really measure their success.

CHID 250: Beats, Bars, Breaks, and Music Videos, explored the do-it-yourself (DIY) side of the music industry. The Brew’s moto: “Unite, Expand, and Rise.” Students got hands-on experience and put their skills to the work, competing with the rest of the indie artists in town. You can download the entire album for free at Bandcamp and decide for yourself if they passed the test.
