In the Know: STOMP

See what all the noise is about at this physical theatre performance.

See the Off-Broadway physical theatre performance STOMP perform live this October.  STOMP is a percussion group that uses ordinary everyday items, such as garbage cans and broomsticks, to create a physical theatre performance.

The group started in the United Kingdom in 1991 and has performed Off-Broadway since 1994.  The group consists of eight people who create beautiful music and sly humor through objects rather than words.

Their Puget Sound show will bring new surprises, routines and props.  Sections of the show have been restructured with new routines, and props such as tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans have been added in.  The show lasts approximately 100 minutes.
