JINGLE BELL RUN/WALK 5K | DECEMBER 13, 2015
The cut-off to register online for this event is TOMORROW, December 10th, so grab your crew and sign up ASAP! We’ve done this race several times and it’s one of the most spirited and fun holiday events in Seattle! Plus, you get a little exercise in, which really just means you get to order that side of french toast with your eggs benedict. The run/walk benefits the Arthritis Foundation.

COOKIE FEST 2015 | DECEMBER 12, 2015 | 10:00AM
Seattle’s ultimate pop-up bake sale help at Seattle’s Armory Loft in Seattle Center. This is a popular, family-friendly event that people will line up for, so make sure to get there early! The event is hosted by Seattle Milk Fund which provides child care grants and family support to low-income, full-time students at King County’s colleges and universities.

WILDLIGHTS WOODLAND PARK ZOO | NOW THROUGH JAN 3, 2016 | 5:30 – 8:30 PM
This electrifying, after-hours event runs nightly from 5:30 – 8:30 pm through Sunday, January 3rd. Guests will be transported to a festive winter wonderland complete with lights, treats, animals and more. Over 600,000 energy-efficient LED lights illuminate the paths of Woodland Park Zoo through dazzling displays of wild animals and exotic destinations including “African Water Hole,” “Jungle Lights” and “Northern Lights.” This year, a few new exciting activities have been added to WildLights including visits from Santa, a Holiday Beer and Wine Garden for guests 21 and older and a peacock scavenger hunt.

SHERATON GINGERBREAD VILLAGE | NOW THROUGH JAN 3, 2016 | OPEN 24/7
This is on our must-do’s list for the holidays every year. It’s the 23rd year for this annual display and the theme this year is Star Wars. Visitors can vote for their favorite and donations benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The event is free and the Sheraton Seattle lobby is open 24 hours.
Pro tip: go after 9:00pm to avoid the crowd (which can be immense during the daytime on weekends).
