Timberland ® opened its doors on April 22nd to Seattle shoppers looking for smart additions to an active yet fashionable wardrobe. 2,900 square feet of clothing, accessories, and footwear adorn new retail space inside one of the area’s style hot-spots, Bellevue Square.
Best known for the yellow boot introduced to buyers in 1973, Timberland’s ® spring collection adds blazers and jackets, purses and packs, sneakers and sandals to accompany this season’s adventures. Featured pieces include a waxed canvas jacket for rugged journeys, the Britton Hill boot with SensorFlex™ comfort technology, and a Seattle-inspired T-shirt to commemorate the store’s grand opening. And, fellow customers can get social at Timberland’s ® “boot wall” where they learn how to maintain product quality, receive lace customization, and try out merchandise through interactive presentations.
What’s more, Timberland ® echoes Seattle’s eco-friendly vibe with low-volatile organic compound (VOC) paints and table bases made of industrial machinery. Reduced-wattage LED lighting, water-saving plumbing fixtures, and Energy Star-eligible equipment and appliances conserve power and water, while recycled ceramic tiles and reclaimed / FSC certified woods build an environment Seattleites can feel good about shopping in.
