As the largest festival focused on celebrating and showcasing South Lake Union, proceeds from the Block Party benefit local organizations committed to the neighborhood. This year’s event will benefit the Cascade Playground Activation Committee (CPAC), a non-profit organization that includes Cascade and South Lake Union neighborhood residents, small business owners, and community organizations. The CPAC supports community building and engagement, making Cascade Playground a safe, fun, and enjoyable park to use for all who live and visit in the neighborhood.
