Over the past 119 years, Seattle-based Filson has worked with many significant industries and organizations, but one of its most cherished relationships has been with men and women who work in the woods. They have outfitted timber cruisers in the early 1900s and providing standard-issue uniforms for the U.S. Forest Service in the 1940s. This season, Filson celebrates this relationship with the introduction of a special line of limited edition products to help spread the message of one of its favorite outdoorsmen: Smokey Bear. 

A beloved icon and a symbol of safely experiencing the great outdoors to generations of Americans, Smokey Bear’s rich heritage makes for an ideal pairing with Filson and its over 100-year history as a manufacturer of rugged goods sewn in the USA.Highlighting the collection is a limited edition Smokey Bear watch. Based on the 43mm Mackinaw Field watch but with a brand new smooth top ring, each watch has a matte black velvet dial with a Smokey Bear icon and the classic “Only You Can Prevent Wildfires” slogan. The strap is self-lined dark brown English Bridle leather. Only 1,000 pieces have been produced and each watch has been individually numbered with an engraving on the caseback.

The Smokey Bear collection is rounded out by a Smokey Bear Blanket made with 100-percent Virgin Wool by Pendleton as well as a T-shirt, water bottle and hat for your next trip to the national forest or park.
