2017 MLS Cup Final: Sounders at Toronto FC

The Sounders FC are now just one win away from defending their MLS championship trophy as they head to Ontario, Canada to face Toronto FC. The Sounders come into the match with a dominating performance against Houston Dynamo with a 5-0 aggregate victory to punch their ticket to this Saturday’s match up.

A chance at being defending champions for the Sounders may not be such an easy task, as Toronto comes in winning the Supporter Shield (given to the team with the highest regular season point total) and also looking for revenge in the highly anticipated matchup from last season’s MLS Cup final.

The Sounders will also look to extend their streak of 647 minutes without conceding a goal during the playoffs. Leading the way for the Sounders will be the 2016 MLS Cup MVP Goalkeeper Stefan Frei and back from suspension, center back Roman Torres.

The match can be seen this Saturday, December 9th on ESPN at 1:00 PM PST. #DefendOurCup
