On Friday, June 7th, starting at 12:00 pm, Pamela Vuong of The Flour Box will be slinging her sugar coma inducing doughnuts at Poindexter Coffee in University District.

Poindexter, located inside the lobby of University District’s Graduate Hotel (formerly Hotel Deca) serves coffee from Coffee Manufactory as well as breakfast sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and juices.
She’s crafted some special flavors for the day including creme brûlée, coffee cream, peanut butter and jelly with strawberry preserves and peanut butter sugar coating and breakfast cereal with Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

If you haven’t already heard of Pamela, she’s definitely a baker on the rise. A young entrepreneur, she started The Flour Box during her freshman year at University of Washington. Baking was a weekend hobby that grew into a side business while she was still in school. Now, creating comforting and nostalgic school-inspired donuts has become a full-time profession and they are worth getting in line for.
