Ahead of Labor Day weekend, Metromile (a new pay-per-mile car insurance) shared the busiest times to drive in Seattle. After analyzing more than 190,000 trips driven in Seattle during Labor Day weekend 2018, here are the predictions of peak travel times for this upcoming weekend: 

• Friday morning from 4:00 to 7:00 am (traffic doubles hour after hour!)
• Friday between 3:00 and 7:00 pm is the weekend high with the holiday peak between 5:00 and 6:00 pm
• Saturday morning between 4:00 and 10:00 am (the traffic doubles hour after hour again) with nonstop traffic between 12:00 – 5:00 pm
• Traffic doesn’t let up on Sunday! 12:00 to 6:00 pm matches the daily highs of Friday and Saturday

The number of drivers on the road doesn’t decrease significantly until Sunday at 10:00 pm.
