Everett, Washington—located in what’s referred to as Seattle NorthCountry—might be a bit of an unexpected travel destination. Yet, thanks to the recent introduction of Paine Field Airport—a small, enjoyable venue focused on “bringing civility back to the airport experience”—there’s a new reason to park yourself overnight in Snohomish County.

Another major draw? The comfort and hospitality offered at the recently renovated Delta Hotels Seattle Everett. This minimalist yet warm site features upscale rooms with 50-inch flat-panel TVs, a comfy main lobby, light-filled fitness center, plus a bustling on-site restaurant and bar. Suites are especially homey with their basic kitchenettes plus separate living, sleeping and dining areas.

The location is ideal for visitors touring the region’s beloved Boeing Future of Flight or catching a game or show at nearby Angel of the Winds Arena, which has seen a lot more action and big-name performers while KeyArena is under construction. At mealtime, enjoy delicious, seasonal fare at on-site VENTURE Kitchen & Bar, or make the short drive to the Everett Marina. Here family-owned Lombardi’s Italian restaurant and wine bar has shown off Northern Italian cuisine since 1998; check out their fresh seafood offerings, too.

• This brand has been designed for seasoned travelers, meaning Delta Hotels offer the “bare maximum” with streamlined rooms and amenities. (Designers placed the focus on having plenty of outlets,  no unnecessary clutter, quality TVs and so on.)
•  Delta recently launched a ‘batch cocktails’ program that comes with a Thrill machine glass chiller, which makes ordering a drink entertainment in itself.

 

• Those who upgrade to an Executive level accommodation get a Keurig coffee maker, robe and slippers plus access to the Elite Pantry—a fun hub for grab-and-go snacks plus free beverages.
• Delta Hotels gives back through an amenity partnership with Soapbox, who follows a buy-one-give-one model to communities in need around the globe. Each naturally-derived Soapbox product featured in guestroom amenity kits (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, liquid hand soap and bar soap) comes with a unique “Hope Code,” meaning guests can learn where their specific kit’s contribution will be allocated.
