Kamala Saxton and Roz Edison, owners of Marination and Super Six, announced today that they will be closing Super Six this week, on Friday, August 26th, after a successful 7 year run. They will operate usual hours for this final week. After closing their doors on Friday, they will take the time needed with construction and reopen as Marination as quickly as they can. They are still finalizing the menu but the menu will be similar to Marination ma kai, with possibly some Super Six favorites sprinkled in on occasion.

The format and setup will also be similar in style—fast-casual, walk-up ordering system, and no table service. Edison goes on to say, “We will be pouring some heart and soul (and probably some paint) into the space and will reopen as Marination-Columbia City! We will still be here, still serving our Columbia City Ohana, but with a refreshed sense of purpose and a renewed focus on our roots. We can’t wait to welcome you back.” New hours of operation will be determined upon their reopening.
