Whether you’re looking for a refreshing low-sugar wine, a “cocktail to go” that you can take anywhere with you, or Chateau Ste Michelle’s newest summer wine, we’ve got you covered!
Liquid Light Wines
With summer in full swing and Labor Day Weekend on the horizon, I have been searching for healthier, low sugar wine options. I was delighted to discover Liquid Light, a lower-calorie, no sugar added wine option.
Liquid Light currently makes both a Rosé and a Sauvignon Blanc. The Cabernet Sauvignon-based Rosé features notes of pink grapefruit, strawberry, hints of Bing cherry, and rhubarb pie. The Sauvignon Blanc is all about the harmonization of the lively acidity and the fresh fruit of Washington State. The aroma and palate are full of green pineapple, lime zest, pink grapefruit, along with hints of mandarin orange and jasmine.
At only 95 calories per 5oz, Liquid Light is super refreshing and perfect for when you’re craving a lighter beverage.
Wild Roots Vodka & Soda
Hard seltzers are ubiquitous now, but this summer you can opt for a canned cocktail that’s all-natural and fruit-forward. Wild Roots Spirits is a female-owned spirits brand based in Portland, Oregon and they are now expanding to be sold in Washington!

Wild Roots Spirits’ canned Vodka & Sodas are sparkling craft cocktails made with real whole fruit and premium corn-based vodka. Like all Wild Roots products, their Vodka & Soda uses all-natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors. With each 12oz can containing a light 4% alcohol by volume, these Vodka & Sodas are great for all-day sipping, whether you are spending time at the campsite, relaxing at the river, or at a backyard barbecue.
Wild Roots current Vodka & Soda flavors are raspberry, peach, blackberry, and lemon. My personal favorite is the peach! This really is the perfect drink, no matter where you decide to venture this summer.
