As we ring in the new year, there is a lot happening at Chateau Ste. Michelle!
For starters, there is a Friday Night Music Series happening on January 6th, January 27th, and February 3rd, February 17th, and February 24th at the Chateau Ste Michelle Tasting Room. This will take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
There will also be a DIY Craft & Sip event on February 23rd, where guests will be able to sip on wine while creating their own watercolor painting. During this session, local artist Sophie Trinh will take guests step-by-step through the process of using watercolors to paint a misty watercolor scene. Each attendee will take home their own beautiful creation. All crafting supplies will be provided for guests. Tickets are $85.

Chateau Ste. Michelle is also currently celebrating Lunar New Year with a delectable food and wine pairing experience called Dim Sum & Sip. Guests will enjoy an expertly crafted menu of three traditional Dim Sum-style dishes from the Chateau Kitchen culinary team, paired with sumptuous Chateau Ste. Michelle wines. The pork belly bao bun and 2019 Cold Creek Riesling was our favorite pairing!
For you hockey fans out there, Chateau Ste. Michelle and 14 Hands are celebrating their third year partnering with the Seattle Kraken. In 2021, Chateau Ste. Michelle and 14 Hands debuted a 2017 Kraken Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Kraken-branded canned wines to commemorate the partnership. You can find these canned wines throughout Climate Pledge Arena, along with a Chateau Ste. Michelle branded wine bar named The Chateau that sells wine by the glass.

If celebrating at home is more your thing, Domaine Ste. Michelle has you covered with their festive cocktail recipes that are perfect for holiday imbibing. We love the “Let the Festivities Begin Holiday Poinsettia,” made with Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine, Cranberry or Cran-Raspberry Juice, and Triple Sec. Find the full recipe here.
Another favorite of ours is a can of 14 Hands Bubbles. This white sparkler is a lively match to the new you in 2023. With notes of apple and a twist of citrus, 14 Hands Bubbles is delicate, bright, and full of bite—it’s no wonder this approachable wine is so popular for holiday celebrations and get-togethers. Plus, the can is a perfect portable option for celebrations on the go.
Cheers and Happy New Year!
