Just a short 30-minute drive from Seattle, the Woodinville Schoolhouse District is your one-stop destination for all things festive this holiday season. Whether you’re unwinding with rejuvenating spa treatments, savoring decadent dining experiences, or picking up artisanal gifts and wines, this charming district invites you to immerse yourself in a day of seasonal shopping and pampering.

Brunch at Pintxo

Pintxo is a cozy, intimate Spanish tapas spot that brings the feel of a traditional Basque pintxos bar right to Woodinville wine country. Known for its delicious small plates and carefully curated Spanish-inspired dishes, Pintxo is perfect for a laid-back brunch or dinner with friends or family. Pintxo’s rustic, modern decor, warm lighting, and wooden interiors create a welcoming ambiance, making you feel like you’ve stepped into a hidden gem.

Pintxo’s brunch menu features creative takes on Spanish flavors. Favorites include authentic dishes like Spanish tortilla (a potato and egg omelette), churros with chocolate, and patatas bravas, alongside brunch classics with a Spanish twist like the eggs benedict with jamón ibérico and the avocado tostada. Their selection of Spanish wines, sangria, and refreshing cocktails pairs beautifully with the food, making it easy to relax and linger over your meal. Since Woodinville is wine country, we recommend making a day of it and visiting a few of the nearby wineries afterward!

Oasis MedSpa

Oasis MedSpa is a tranquil, upscale medical spa that offers a variety of advanced aesthetic treatments in a luxurious setting. The spa is designed with relaxation in mind, with soothing decor, soft lighting, and a team of highly skilled professionals focused on delivering personalized, rejuvenating experiences. Their most popular treatments include hydra-facials, micro needling, Botox and dermal fillers, laser skin treatments, and body contouring. Combining advanced technology and a client-centered approach, Oasis MedSpa has become a favorite in Woodinville for those seeking high-quality, science-backed aesthetic treatments.

Holiday Market

On December 13 and 14, the Schoolhouse District will host its annual Holiday Market. On the 13th, it’s a special adults-only evening filled with unique holiday treasures from local vendors. Find everything from permanent jewelry and handcrafted pottery to artisanal chocolates and holiday décor. And, the best part: sip while you shop! Enjoy tastings directly from the wine tasting rooms at L’Ecole No 41, Montinore & Landlines Estates, and Barnard Griffin, all within the heart of the market. On the 14th, from 12-6pm, bring the family! Kids can enjoy photos with Santa, make crafts at the fidget-making booth, and enjoy holiday treats. While the little ones have fun, parents can sip on hot cocoa or explore more wine tastings.

Dinner at Walla Walla Steak Co.

Walla Walla Steak Co. offers a classic steakhouse experience with a warm, Pacific Northwest touch. With rustic, inviting decor, soft lighting, and cozy leather seating, Walla Walla Steak Co. all has a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels upscale but still welcoming, perfect for special occasions, date nights, or gathering with friends over a hearty meal.

When you arrive, you’re likely greeted by the scent of wood-fired cooking from their open kitchen, where chefs prepare premium cuts of steak, local seafood, and seasonal sides. Popular starters like the crispy calamari and their signature Walla Walla onion rings (a nod to the restaurant’s roots) are guest favorites. Their steaks are the highlight—perfectly cooked to order and often paired with your choice of sauces and decadent sides like truffle mashed potatoes or roasted seasonal vegetables.

The wine list is robust, with a strong emphasis on Walla Walla and Washington wines, and their craft cocktails are expertly crafted to complement the food. Dinner here feels like a full experience—the staff is attentive without rushing, allowing you to savor each course. It’s easy to linger, enjoying good company over a great meal, in a setting that feels both down-to-earth and a little indulgent.
