There’s a new, free outdoor festival in town! Seattle’s classical music community is coming together in a new way to celebrate summer with live classical music.
Seattle Center Classical on July 5th 2026 is a new, first of its kind, free event at Seattle Center, bringing the region’s leading classical music organizations together for live music in a relaxed, family-friendly, outdoor atmosphere.

Join the festival for an afternoon of discovery, picnics, community, and sharing an intimate classical music experience with works including J. S. Bach Cello Suite No. 1, (Early Music Seattle), George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue (Seattle Chamber Music Society), and the sounds of a string quartet during the height of summer (Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra).
Seattle Center Classical will conclude with a community-sing led by singers from Greater Seattle Choral Consortium, inviting audiences to participate in a shared musical moment. Participation is open to singers of all experience levels, rsvp for information and lyrics.
This festival brings the region’s arts organizations together on The Concert Truck stage, made possible through Seattle Chamber Music Society, and is presented by Classical KING in collaboration with Seattle Center.
