National Parks at Benaroya will be a spectacular musical and visual presentation celebrating Washington’s National Park Fund’s 25th anniversary. Washington National Park Fund is partnering with Northwest Symphony Orchestra (NWSO) on Thursday, October 24th, and will feature beautiful musical compositions coupled with lovely imagery of our state’s national parks.

At a time when the future of our country’s national parks feels threatened, we’ve discovered two wonderful ways to honor their beauty and support those trying to save them.
The Grand Canyon is one of the most recognizable National Parks in the United States with its distinguished layered bands of red rock. Formed over millions of years, the Canyon runs 10 miles across and a mile deep. After plenty of research and a successful five-day trip, here are some of my tips and a few pictures (though these don’t do it justice). Honestly, you need to put it on your list—I can’t put into words how magnificent and stunning it is to experience in person.
