Back by popular demand: “Yellow Face.”

Repertory Actors Theatre (ReAct) and sketch comedy group, Pork Filled Players (PFP), gives the critically acclaimed hit,  “Yellow Face” a second run this month in Seattle.

Written by the celebrated Asian-American playwright, David Henry Hwang, “Yellow Face” is the story of how Hwang helped lead the protest against yellow-face casting in Miss Saigon, only to later accidentally cast a white actor as the lead Asian role in his own Broadway show.

A sweet sample of what Seattle has to offer.

There’s a lot of talent in the city and it can be a challenge deciding on what to check out next. RAW: Natural Born Artist gives you a little taste of everything. The national indie arts organization kicks off in Seattle this Saturday with its first showcase of the season, “Mixology,” which will feature 21 local artists from fashion design and music to photography, and even comedy.
