Mussels, mussels and more mussels. It’s Mussel Madness!

Bastille Café & Bar kicked off Moules Monday featuring local Mediterranean mussels from Taylor Shellfish Farms paired with ingredients from the Ballard Farmers Market purveyors and Bastille’s rooftop garden.
Every Monday from 6 – 10 p.m., until the end of Spring, the entire restaurant, including both bars, the dining room and the terrace, guests will have the opportunity to sample three of chef Shannon Galusha’s Market-inspired mussel dishes. Talk about getting your mussel fix!
Think: Moules Frites with Celery Root Cream, Moules in Cider with Endive and Alvarez Farms Poached Apples, Moules Chowder with Olsen Farms Potatoes and Fennel, Moules Aux Cremant, Moules a la Curry Maison, and Moules Persillade with Herbs from Bastille’s roof top garden. Cost is $14 per dish. Variety is the spice of life, and mussels are no exception!
