Art aficionados, circus fiends and fans of the bizarre — there’s a circus in town you won’t want to miss.  A world-renowned dinner theater venue that has delighted audiences for decades, Teatro ZinZanni will be bustling with excitement on Wednesday, Oct. 19 as local artists and craftspeople parade their jewelry, paintings, glasswork, clothing and other creations within the resturaunt’s Moulin Rouge Spiegeltent.

This is no popcorn-munching, peanut-crunching, simple three ring circus we’re talking about. Known for its winning combination of European-style cirque, cabaret, comedy and live music — all topped off with a gourmet five-course meal — Teatro ZinZanni is no stranger to giving guests a unique whirlwind of thrills. The venue juggles the drama of Cirque Du Soleil, the physical comedy of the Three Stooges and the glitz and glamor of Broadway to give new definition to dinner theater.

Art at the Speigeltent will be no different. Featuring over 20 local artists, this first-ever juried art show in the Moulin Rouge Tent will feature circus-inspired artwork and habedashery for guests to purchase and peruse, from artists such as custom mask-maker Cynthia Salisbury and Javier Ortega, known for his eerie and intriguing paintings.

Guests may enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres, such as smoked salmon, caraway mousseline on toast points and truffles courtesy of Forte Chocolates, as well as a host of fabulous drink specials. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes and receive an official Teatro ZinZanni swag bag. Tickets are available online.
