Seattle Beta is the premier event for tech-savvy Seattleites.

Seattle Beta is a quarterly get-together that draws nearly 300 people, including founders, hackers, students, members of the press, investors, visionaries and professors — all with a similar entrepreneurial spirit and passion for technology.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Spitfire. These mixers strive to bring together like-minded people from the entrepreneurial community and allow them to mingle and network with their peers. The environment is casual, fun and filled with creative conversation, interactive demos — and cocktails, to boot.

There are no formal presentations, but guests may enjoy a series of informal demos throughout the evening. These presentations give everyone an opportunity to visit with founders and experience up-and-coming products at a more personal level.

Seattle Beta is a Beta Ltd production — “The Vanguard of the Internet” that hosts events in Seattle, as well as other cities like New York, Dublin, Boston and San Francisco throughout the year. Both Seattle Beta sponsors are major leaders in innovation: Opscode and SoftLayerOpscode helps companies develop fully automated server infrastructures, while SoftLayer specializes in on-demand web and hosting/data center services.

To host a demo at this event, fill out an online application — presentation tables are free of charge!  Also, register for this event online to see a list of attendees. Also, feel free to e-mail Seattle Beta organizers if you have any questions.
