What’s Hot: Vegfest 2012

A meatless paradise arrives at the Seattle Center.

This annual vegetarian festival will show you all the ways in which you can be healthy and satisfied at the same time. Vegfest 2012 will answer all the questions you’ve ever had about vegetarian food options and more.

Hosted by Vegetarians of Washington, in order to educate everyone — vegetarian or not — their goal is to show that eating healthy is not only good for you but fun too. The event features new and exciting vegetarian products and free grub. With over 500,000 food samples from over 200 companies, Vegfest is a gigantic sampling room of tasty treats from all over the globe.

Don’t miss out on step by step instruction on how to make delicious vegetarian meals. Chefs who’ve traveled near and far will be preparing their favorite dishes and sharing their secrets on how to give meatless meals flavorful.

Between the free food and cooking demos, you can also connect with doctors and dietitians who’ll be on-hand to share the latest trends in health and nutrition and answer your burning questions.
