Bastille Day is a historic anniversary celebrating the storming of the French fortress, Bastille, which played a significant role in the French Revolution. The fortress was located in Paris and the kings of France would sometimes use it as a state prison. It was stormed, July 14, 1789, and became an important symbol for the French Republican movement. The anniversary of the storming is celebrated yearly in many cities around the world.
Ticket proceeds from the event will go to the Children’s Response Center, a Seattle non-profit organization that provides legal and counseling services to children who have experienced severe abuse and trauma.

Where: Madison Valley, the self-proclaimed “European Village” Seattle. (located east of Capitol Hill; west of Washington Park; south of Montlake; and north of the Central District)
How Much: Tickets for food and wine will be sold at the event. Small food plates available for $2 to $6. Wine passports available for a $10 donation.
