Glenfiddich showcases the versatility of scotch as the perfect mixed libation.
The temperature was hot and the energy of the Emerald City was vibrant — it was the perfect evening for Seattleites to soak up the summer sun while enjoying the coolest scotch concoctions, courtesy of the legendary single malt scotch whiskey distiller, Glenfiddich.
The night was filled with a dynamic crowd of Seattleites who were all eager to mix-n-mingle and taste creative and refreshing summer scotch cocktails from Seattle’s top mixologists.
Macleod’s “Dufftown Punch” with Glenfiddich 15 Year, Amontillado sherry, blackberry, lemon and ginger kept guests wanting more. Quinn’s “Tamarack” with Glenfiddich 12 Year, Kevin King “Spring” Americano, chartreuse and honey was the perfect summer sipper, and restauranteurs/chefs Brian McCracken and Dana Tough of Spur, Tavern Law and Coterie Room, impressed Seattleites with their three innovative scotch concoctions with Glenfiddich 12, 15 and 18 Year.
The highlight of the evening was the opportunity for guests to taste Glenfiddich’s 30 Year from the brand’s national ambassador, Mitch Bechard. The scotch was flowing, the beats were grooving, and the food was pleasing. The coveted downtown Seattle restaurant, Urbane, satisfied guests with their lamb meatballs with Romesco sauce, pear crisps with herbed goat cheese and mini shrimp rolls. Accompanying the savory bites were mouth-watering sweets from the popular food truck, Street Treats.
The night was filled with music, good times, great people, delicious food and the coolest Glenfiddich scotch cocktails.
