The temperature was hot and the energy of the Emerald City was vibrant — it was the perfect evening for Seattleites to soak up the summer sun while enjoying the coolest scotch concoctions, courtesy of the legendary single malt scotch whiskey distiller, Glenfiddich.
On Tuesday, May 10, the Washington Athletic Club hosted a tasting engagement for The Balvenie, one of the most eminent whisky labels in Scotland. A handful of invited guests were on hand to sip three select single malts — and a few lucky Seattleite staff members were among them. The event was part of a nationwide promotion to introduce a distinguished brand to a wider North American audience.
Any whiskey aficionado can tell you the name ‘Glenfiddich’ is synonymous with good scotch. The eminent single malt label has been classing up joints all over the world since the 15th century, and just recently, three Glenfiddich ambassadors paid Seattleites a visit.
