You might not want to believe it, but summer will be winding down before you know it. Luckily, there are still plenty of fun festivals to attend and keep the summer going strong—like the Fourth Annual Kitsap Wine Festival, a celebration of wine and food on Bremerton’s waterfront.
There’s an awesome list of participating wineries, breweries and restaurants, including: Northwest Totem Cellars, Laurelhurst Cellars, Kiona Vineyards, Terra Blanca, Hales Brewery, Anthony’s at Sinclair Inlet, Amy’s Decadent Chocolates, Kitsap Conference Center, Minder Meats and more.
Your ticket gets you quite a lot: a Kitsap Wine Festival commemorative wine glass, wine and beer samples from Northwest wineries and breweries, Summer Sipper Bar Tasting, food from local restaurants, live music by the North End Jazz Quintet and Eugenie Jones, and access to the retail wine shop.
At the Summer Sipper Bar, you can sample Rieslings, rosé, and sparkling wines side by side from many of the participating wineries. Inside the recently expanded retail shop, you can buy some of the wines you tasted as well as related wine accessories and merchandise.
A portion of the proceeds benefit the Harrison Medical Center Foundation, which makes a big difference in people’s lives through exceptional medical care. They raised over $17,000 last year—and the festival sold out, so get your tickets now.
