In the Know: Arcade Lights

Meet and eat with local farmers and Seattleites at Pike Place Market.

Experience Seattle and its Artisan foods at Pike Place Market’s semi-annual Arcade Lights celebration.  The evening is filled with savory bites, both sweet and salty, and will feature more than 60 breweries, wineries and small-scale food businesses that will surely create the ultimate Artisan experience.

Pike Place Market was born in the Emerald City more than a century ago and was a place that local farmers could go to and sell their produce.  Farmers and customers got real face time and the market grew in popularity.  Today, it is internationally recognized as America’s premier farmers’ market and attracts more than 10 million visitors every year.

Arcade Lights benefits the Market Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports the Market’s human service agencies through fundraising efforts, events and grants.  To learn more about how the Market Foundation serves the Seattle community, check out their page on the Pike Place Market website.
