We normally think of Happy Hour as a post work affair. A chance to shake off the day or get started shaking things up for the night ahead. If you want that and more, look no further than Belltown Pizza that Monday through Friday offers Happy Hour from 4-6p and on Sundays offers a special menu of Breakfast Pizzas such as The Manning made with bacon, egg, cheddar cheese, and mushrooms.

Must Have Eats: Jimmy, the current owner, took over Belltown Pizza more than ten years ago, and since then has focused on delivering East Coast Style, real deal, real simple pizzas. With a menu featuring pies named after staff past and present such as the [Ben] Derby Special, and another 16 more besides that, it’s hard to know where to start. Jimmy urges people to go classic, starting with a Chop Salad ($10.59 and large enough to share) and following with the Ray’s Famous ($22 for 18″), a red sauce pizza with whole milk mozzarella to which the addition of pepperoni is highly recommended. The Happy Hour menu offers $2 slices from a selection of their most popular pizzas, that when paired with a Happy Hour drink is hard to beat.
Must Have Drinks: Whether you’re looking for a pint of Guinness or fresh juice cocktail, the bar at Belltown Pizza delivers, boasting beers on draft and spirits from local distiller Batch 206, all served by Belltown’s bartender who has been a fixture in the restaurant for over a decade. Weekday Happy Hour includes $3.50 drafts, $5 Jack, Bacardi, and Finlandia Cocktails, $3 well drinks and more.

Happy Times: 4-6pm Monday – Friday
The Inside Scoop: While Belltown may have had a bad rep for a while of seedy purveyors and dodgy, dark corners the Belltown Pizza space is very well done, with unexpected touches such as benches from barnyard wood, refurbished PacMan games turned two-top-tables, and a bar divide artistically crafted from antique bikes. To sweeten the deal? There is a Tuesday Night Special of one large two topping pizza, plus a bucket of beer for $20, not to be overshadowed by Wino Wednesday which features one large two topping pizza, plus a bottle of red or white wine for $25.
