Free Concert Giveaway Series: The Paper Kites Take Down the Tractor Tavern Tuesday October 22nd

Who: I seem to fall for anything Australian, but after listening to Bloom on repeat and reviewing their blunt autobiography via Facebook: “Hello we’re The Paper Kites. We play songs” I appreciate the sincerity of The Paper Kites   and love their new album States, recently released in the US. Bandmates Sam Bentley, Christina Lacy, Dave Powys, Sam Rasmussen and Josh Bentley all played in separate bands before Christina and Sam were invited to perform at a festival and pulled the others along with them; the conversation to start a band was never really established, they simply saw an opportunity for success together, and the rest is history. They’ve since gained wide popularity in Australia, selling out their first two National headline tours, have had over 3 million views on youtube for their videos Featherstone and Bloom, and you might recognize their music from being featured on the series final episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
