DOG DAYS: Fremont Solstice Dog Parade

Bring your dog and celebrate summer.

We are excited to introduce a new Seattleite column that is dedicated to providing information about dog-friendly restaurants and bars, fun dog events around the city, the best dog supply stores, and answering common dog-related questions. “Dog Days” will be authored by our newest writer, Angela McWethy. Angela and her husband own a mini-dachshund named Chica.

In this edition of Dog Days, we highlight the Sunday Dog Parade as a part of  the annual Fremont Solstice Fair that runs from Friday, June 19-21. The fair is an eclectic celebration of all the fun and funky that Fremont has to offer. The dog parade will feature dogs of all shapes and sizes! It starts at 2:30 pm and runs through the Fremont Fair Grounds.
