OUR EXPERIENCE: I had my session with Jaymie, one of the founders, and she was wonderful. She joined the Air Force at age 19, serving the country here and abroad. After 9 years, she attended the Euro Institute and obtained her esthetician license and worked in aerospace logistics and at Seattle Chldren’s before starting Eye Candy with Athena.

Unlike other lash lounges that feel more like a nail salon, they have individual rooms for each client. At Eye Candy, it is more of a spa experience. Jaymie was great answering all my questions and asking what kind of look I was going for. She offered me a soft blanket; the room was cozy and heated. During the lash service, I actually dozed off because it was so relaxing. It felt so nice to be in a calm and safe environment getting my glam on.

Once she was done, she used a Nanomister spray that set my eyelashes in less than 30 minutes! 30. At every other lash salon, you have to wait 24 hours to work out or shower. It was pretty shocking to see myself with such long lashes (I’ve only had lash extensions one other time), but after 3 or 4 days, I am in love. Whatever age you are, lash extensions are a simple way to feel beautiful and sexy.
