A can’t-miss, low-maintenance weekend of fun, music, nature + community.
Now that 4th festivities have come and gone, it’s time to plan for our next big adventure. Timber! Outdoor Music Festival, we’re looking at you. Next weekend—July 13 through 15—a much-anticipated community gathering is calling your (and our!) names, beckoning music lovers of all ages to Carnation (just 30 miles from Seattle), where awesome summertime tunes come to a tranquil, wooded setting.

The welcoming fest, described as essentially being “a big neighborhood campout” takes place at a densely forested 574-acre park situated at the confluence of two rivers. An alluring lineup features musicians like Shovels and Ropes, Sera Cahoone, Shelby Earl, Cataldo, Star Anna and DJ Greg Vandy, as well as Saundra and Starr (of Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings) and A True Loves “Soul Revue” with Adra Boo (of Fly Moon Royalty).

On Thursday night, join a Violent Femmes Campfire Sing-A-Long; all weekend long, join activities from kayaking, hiking, SUPing and yoga-ing with REI to Adult Flashlight Tag and a Bob Ross Painting Party. Accommodation options that still have space range from General Festival Camping ($40) to REI Signature Camps ($600), and day passes are available, too.
The best news of all? Tickets are very affordable! Scoop one up stat, and we’ll see you there.
